Fraud Warning To All Members

Brethren, the use of fake financial warnings, known as "Phishing", is becoming an epidemic on the Internet.   If you receive any e-mail "warnings" from what appear to be legitimate Financial Institutions,
DO NOT RESPOND TO THEM
Delete any such e-mails immediately.

These may appear to come from well-known companies such as Royal Bank, TD Bank, Bank of Montreal, CIBC, HSBC, and PC Financial Corp.

These are, in fact, carefully designed fakes, which are trying to lure you into visiting fraudulent websites, which then ask you to disclose personal information such as bank account numbers, credit card numbers, passwords, etc.     Be assured that legitimate companies NEVER use such methods of contact.   If you think you may have responded to one of these frauds in error, contact your financial institution immediately. The Banks are well aware of these fraudulent activities, and take these scams very seriously.

and R.W. Bro. Roy W. Kerr

Born on Aug. 28th, 1924, R.W. Bro. Roy Kerr was initiated in Birch Cliff Lodge on Oct. 2nd, 1959, Passed on Nov. 23rd, 1959, and Raised on Jan. 29th, 1960.   He served as Worshipful Master of this Lodge in 1970. He is a PM of Golden Rule Lodge No. 409 (1983), and a Past DDGM of Muskoka-Parry Sound District.

Induction of W.Bro. Greg Dickson

The Presbytery of Hamilton met in New Westminster Church in Hamilton on the afternoon of Sunday, March 9th., to induct the Rev. Gregory Dickson as the congregation's new Minister.

2. Service of Induction

Induction of W.Bro. Greg Dickson

The service of induction was conducted by the Moderator of The Presbytery, the Rev. Dr. Ian McPhee. The Rev. Dickson is a recent graduate of Knox College in Toronto who was just ordained by his home Presbytery the week before his induction at New Westminster. He has been called to a half time position in ministry at New Westminster. The charge to the newly inducted Minister and the New Westminster Congregation was delivered by the Clerk of the Presbytery, the Rev. Judee Archer Green.

3. Friendship Gathering

Following the induction service there was a fellowship gathering at which the members of
the Presbytery, as well as personal friends of the Dickson family, joined the New
Westminster Congregation in greeting and congratulating Greg as he commences his new ministry in Hamilton.
